We provide a temporary home away from home for eligible guests who require medical treatments in Edmonton, Alberta, and live outside of the city and the surrounding area. Valour Place’s accommodations are provided at no cost to guests.

Our transport van is available to book for rides to and from your medical appointments. Please fill out the form below as soon as you know your appointment details so we can do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Our van is operated by volunteers, so availability varies. We’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs — the more notice you give us, the better our chances of having a volunteer available for your trip.

You are free to come and go as you please during your stay with us. Whether you need to step out for a few hours or an entire day, you can rest assured that you can return to a safe and welcoming environment.
Yes, it is. All access points are locked at all times. It is only with a key FOB that someone can enter the building. Like all big cities, we suggest guests ensure their vehicles are locked and remove all valuables.
Yes! We have a volunteer-driven van available on site upon request. To arrange transport, please submit a request as early as possible so we can coordinate with our volunteers.
No, unfortunately, only certified service dogs are allowed. Please make sure your booking form includes information about the service dog.
Towels & bedding are provided. Each room also has a hair dryer. Guests are responsible for washing their own bedding & towels during their stay but not at checkout.
We provide some basics, such as milk, coffee, tea, cream, sugar, bread, butter, peanut butter, condiments, and spices. We also have a pantry stocked with dry goods left by previous guests and by the Veterans Food Bank Association. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional food. There are multiple grocery stores within close proximity to the House.
Yes, we have several entertainment areas. In the basement, you will find an exercise area, a kid’s playroom, a library, a crafts area, a games area (pool table, foosball, air hockey, shuffleboard), and a family room with a big screen and video games and movies. Outside our backyard is fully fenced in with a small swing play park.
Yes, guests are provided with free parking while they stay at Valour Place.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to provide these items but we do have twin mattresses we make up for children’s beds. Please feel free to bring your playpen to use.
Yes, all bedrooms have a barrier-free bathroom with either a bathtub or walk-in shower.
Yes, we have a laundry area for house guests. We also provide all the items (soap, bleach, dryer sheets) needed to do laundry, so no need to bring your own.
Smoking is only permitted in the designated area in the backyard. Alcohol, cannabis, or drug use is not permitted on the property.
