Valour Place was founded in 2012 with a simple but powerful belief: that those who dedicate their lives to protecting Canada and its communities should never face the added stress of finding or affording accommodation when seeking medical care away from home.
For over a decade of service, Valour Place has grown into a trusted sanctuary for Canadian Forces members, Veterans, RCMP officers, First Responders, and Families of the Fallen. Our community of volunteers, donors, and supporters makes it all possible.
Every stay represents a family supported, a burden lifted, and a hero given the space to heal. We are proud to stand beside those who stand for Canada, and we are committed to continuing this work for as long as our heroes need us.

Guests are never asked to shoulder the cost of their stay. Valour Place is funded entirely through donations and community support.
A caring, community atmosphere allows guests to focus on what matters most, healing, rather than logistics or expenses.
Valour Place is available 365 days a year and helps support hundreds of military, veteran, RCMP, and first responder families each year.
Our doors are open to the brave men and women who serve Canada in uniform and on the front lines, as well as their immediate families, whenever medical care brings them to Edmonton.
