Walk For Valour is the sole major fundraiser for Valour Place — a home away from home for military, veterans, first responders, and their families during medical treatment. Every step you take directly helps Canadian heroes by keeping their families close during difficult medical journeys.
Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026
Registration opens at 9 am, and Walk starts at 10 am
Location: Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, Edmonton — or walk/run in your own community
Distance: 2.5 km or 5km walk or run
💰 Cost: $40 fee for Adults 12+ with the price including a t-shirt! Children 12 and under register for free.

Valour Place provides no-cost accommodation to military, veterans, and first responder families when they need to travel to Edmonton for medical care. In 2024, we provided 2,759 nights of stay for families across Alberta and beyond.
